Enjoy a magnificent view of the St. Louis skyline by night. (D)

Day 2: OMAHA, NE / GREEK DINNER & DANCE PERFORMANCE AT ST. JOHN’S GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH:  Today we travel west across Missouri then head northwest to Nebraska. After checking into our hotel in Omaha, our home for the next two nights, we will tour St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church, a beautiful gold domed Byzantine Church. After a short presentation on the history of Orthodox Christianity, architecture and traditions, the parishioners will serve our group a home-cooked Greek-style meal. They complete our evening as they perform a series of Greek dances. The program ends with the traditional Greek Wedding dance. (B,D)

Day 3: OMAHA, NE / FATHER FLANNIGAN’S BOY’S TOWN / OMAHA SIGHTSEEING TOUR / 1927 THEATRE PIPE ORGAN PERFORMANCE / TITANIC DINNER AT RENAISSANCE MANSION:  Traveling into West Omaha, we visit Father Flanagan’s Boys Town, an actual working town. Here, you will learn the inspiring story of this city of children. Then a local guide will escort us on an “Introduction to the City of Omaha” historical tour. We will drive by Warren Buffets house and the birth-site of President Gerald Ford.  A photo stop is included at Pioneer Courage Park with its nearly life-size sculpture of an entire wagon train.  Next is the number one attraction in Omaha, the 1927 Kimbal Theatre Pipe Organ Performance! This includes a tour of the most amazing theatre pipe organs in the state – four rooms containing all pipes and musical instrument varieties. Then sit down for a musical concert, sing-along and a silent movie! After freshening up at our hotel, we will travel back in time to the fateful night of the sinking of the world’s most famous luxury liner, the R.M.S. Titanic. Experience the Titanic Dinner at Renaissance Mansion. This is an authentic eight course meal from the ship’s original turn-of-the-century menu along with the company of such characters as Molly Brown and Captain Smith. (B,D)

Day 4:  OMAHA, NE / LITHUANIAN BAKERY PRESENTATION / LUNCH AT ST. PAUL’S LUTHERAN CHURCH / SWEDISH TOWN BACKROADS TOUR & COVERED BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, IA / JOHN WAYNE’S BIRTHPLACE / PELLA, IA:  Before departing Omaha we will stop at Lithuanian Bakery. In Winterset enjoy a delicious Swedish Meatball Luncheon at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Next we enjoy a back-roads tour featuring the world-famous covered bridges of Madison County.  Our guide will point out many points of interest and stop at John Wayne’s birthplace.
