FAMILY CHRISTMAS SHOW @ DERBY DINNER
PLAYHOUSE:
Celebrate the splendor of the season at the
historic Galt House, located on the banks of
the Ohio River. This evening we’ll feast on
a fanciful buffet dinner at the Derby Dinner
Playhouse. Then sit back and enjoy
“Sanders Family Christmas” featuring country
holiday songs blended with traditional

KY / BREAKFAST BUFFET / GUIDED TOUR OF
HISTORIC LOUISVILLE / TOUR SCHIMPFF’S
CONFECTIONARY CANDY KITCHEN & MUSEUM /
SHOPPING / KALIGHTOSCOPE CHRISTMAS / “COLORS
OF THE SEASON” DINNER SHOW: After a
bountiful breakfast at The Galt, we depart
for a tour of Louisville.
See the
grandeur of Victorian architecture and the
changes at the end of the era. Learn from
your step-on guide the history of the birth
of Louisville and how it came about. Then
we’ll watch candy being made on century-old
equipment and enjoy browsing amidst
thousands of pieces of American candy
memorabilia at Schimpff’s Confectionary.
After Christmas shopping at St. Matthews
Mall we’ll return to The Galt for a
KaLightoscope Christmas.
The key attraction is KaLightoscope,
a dazzling display of fabulous holiday
luminaries, towering 16 to 30 feet high. You
can stroll through a landscape of these
lighted scenes. Artisans take the
century-old craft of Asian lantern making to
a magical, monumental scale. Moving parts,
amazing colors and surprising building
materials all come together in one of the
most spectacular and charming holiday
displays anywhere. This evening we’ll enjoy
“Colors of the Season,” a world-class dinner
show. Filled with song, dance, and
laughter, by
the time of the beautiful “O Holy Night”
finale, every heart will be warmed. This is
the essence of the holidays all rolled
together into one, enchanting experience

3: BREAKFAST
AT LYNN’S PARADISE CAFE / HOME:
We’ll start the day off right with
breakfast at one of the four “most fun
restaurants” in America, according to
Esquire Magazine! Lynn’s Paradise Café is
always warm and welcoming with an eclectic
menu and motif to match! With satisfied
tummies we depart
for home full of fond memories and
Christmas cheer. (B)
